Thanksgiving Activity #2: Story of the Pilgrims

This activity is quite simple, but that's good since it is easy for little ones.  It consists of a couple worksheets, one that tells the story of the pilgrims in a rebus format and one that is a matching and quiz portion over the story.  Even if your child doesn't read yet, you can point to the words in the story and your little one can say the words represented by the pictures when you come to them.  This is a good activity for helping littles understand the concept that sentences are made of words that proceed in a certain order from left to right.  I read the quiz to Alexis and she answered the questions.  I like the quiz section because it reinforced the story and assessed her comprehension.  Below is the worksheet and a link to it.
