There are so many ornaments I love on my tree: my own first baby ornaments, my It's a Wonderful Life ornament, all the many ornaments from my parents and from students. But in thinking about which ornaments I would pick for this post, I picked the two that mean the most to me because they relate to the biggest changes in my life.
The first is this heart ornament. I got this ornament for Roger for our first Christmas. I love him so much and I truly mean the words on this ornament. Marrying Roger completely changed my life and I have loved the change. I love being married to him and walking life's roads together.
My other favorite ornament is one my mom gave me the Christmas after Alexis was born. I love the concept, a mother's first Christmas. I also love the fact that I was holding my newborn girl in Christmas 2009. It was a very special Christmas and the only one I'll have as a new mommy.
