Accelerations

It has been amazing to watch Alexis these past few weeks. She has made leaps and bounds mentally. It's like I can see the wheels in her mind turning all the time. In the last few weeks she has stood up, stacked blocks, put shapes in her Shape-O-Toy, learned to finger feed, figured out how to pull the dishwasher holders out and that's just a few. I can tell she is imitating me all the time, trying out new actions and babbles. I just love how God has made our minds. A baby accelerates and starts putting two and two together. The vast amount of connections our brains can make are amazing...and I get the joy of watching it happen!
